FAQS - Thanks for Stopping By!

WHAT ANIMALS DO YOU CURRENTLY HAVE IN YOUR CARE?

We currently have 13 horses/ponies/mini horses, 1 mule, 5 cows, 7 goats, 3 sheep, 2 llamas, 9 dogs, and several cats (maybe 6?). These also include a few personal animals on site that might belong to Dr. Heather or Laura.

DO YOU HAVE DOGS OR CATS FOR ADOPTION?

We are a sanctuary and the animals we take in will live out their days with us. These are the ones that would be turned away at other rescues or are otherwise not adoptable because of health issues, etc. We would refer you to places like SAFE (Save a Forgotten Equine), PAWS, Second Chance Dog Rescue, Old Dog Haven, or Petfinder if you are looking to adopt a pet.

WHERE DOES OUR DONATION MONEY GO?

All of the money donated goes towards the care of the animals here. We do not take a salary at all. Most of the money goes towards food and supplements and medications needed, some to labor for keeping the area clean and safe for our animals. Some goes toward repair and maintenance of the buildings and fences needed to provide safe haven for everyone.

DO YOU ALLOW FARM VISITS?

Occasionally we will do group visits if insurance allows, but since our animals are often sick or debilitated and we are 100% dedicated to their care, we do not generally allow visitation.
